Mary Reid

Ms. Mary Alice Reid of Tampa passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020.  Graveside Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 5, at 11:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610 with Reverend Samuel Maxwell, officiating.  Interment will follow. Please follow the CDC Guidelines.  Masks are required. 

Ms. Mary Alice Reid was a native of Pineview, Georgia and a resident of Tampa for 80 years.   She was a graduate of Middleton High School and was a member of First Baptist Church of Progress Village, and Progress Village Senior Center.  Ms. Reid retired as a Food Service Supervisor from the Hillsborough County, W. T. Edwards Detention Center. 

She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Jeffrey Reid, Sr. (Jackie), Carey Reid (Julia), Morris Reid, Derrick Reid, Mark Durden and Penny Reid; grandchildren, Jeffrey Reid, Jr., Terrell Reid, Ebony Reid Owens (Darin), Carey Reid II (Andreina), Dimitri Reid (Regina), Timothy Morris, Brittani Pate, Tiffani Moore (Chad), Shayna Reid and Ashley Reid; great grandchildren, Brandon, D’Andre, Caleb, Brooklyn, Jayden, Osmany, Massiah, Miyani, Kai, Malaya, Karsen, Skai, Jamier and Khaza; siblings, James Reid (Pearl), Geraldine Cottman, Ronnie Reid, Larry Reid, Bruce Reid and Michael Reid; God-sister, Delores Sanders; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

 The visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. Friday, December 4, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines.  Masks are required.
