Mother Ruthie Nettles passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at College Hill Church of God in Christ,6414 N.  30th St, Tampa, FL 33610, with Elder Donald F. Jorden, Sr, Officiating.

Retired as Licensed Practical Nurse at Veterans Administration Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan

LOVE’S INTERLUDE

Grew up knowing the Late Van Lester Nettles when young in Williston, FL.  Their life paths took diverse directions but later reconnected when he returned to Williston for hunting and fishing sports. 

Love blossomed to a full romance and they joined together in marriage.

He took her to Michigan to be the forever wife of his youth dreams.
