Mr. Ali Zaire Ford Reddick

Mr. Ali Zaire Ford Reddick of Tampa, FL passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Hope of Shiloh Community Church, 3910 E. Conover Street, Tampa, FL 33610, Elder Cornelius L. Moore, Senior Pastor, Elder Robert E. Benn, Officiator. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Ali Zaire Ford Reddick was born on November 1, 1974, in Tampa, Florida to the parents of Barbara Ford-Reddick and the late John H. Reddick Jr. Ali grew up in Tampa and was educated in Hillsborough County Public Schools. He attended Leto and Hillsborough High Schools. Ali thoroughly enjoyed playing sports and grew up playing little league baseball from 6 years old until High School, where he played on his high school’s baseball and football teams. Ali was a people person, he loved traveling and getting out to meet new people as well as spending time with family and friends. He had such an intellectual curiosity, and he enjoyed learning new things. He was an avid reader and liked doing things like math for fun.  

He was preceded in death by: his father, John Henry Reddick Jr.; aunts, Janice Person and Jacqueline Jordan; uncles, Archie L. and Clifton C. Ford; aunts, Shirley D. Ford, Wanda M. Ford, Doris J. Pearson, and Ann Gregory; aunt-in-law, Deloris Ford; and uncle-in-law, Robert Gregory.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Barbara Ford-Reddick; sister, Taranda Ford; aunts, Sheryl Jordan-Clark, Debra Williams (Eric), and Verlion Jordan; uncles, Robert L. Ford (Mattie), and Alfonzo Ford (Maryann); uncle-in-law, Sidney Person; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
