Mr. Alphonso Sams Jr.

Mr. Alphonso Sams Jr., 33, of Brandon, FL, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Brown Memorial Church of God in Christ, 2313 East 27th Avenue, Tampa, FL 33605 with Elder Lonnie Jones, Officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Alphonso Sams Jr. was born and raised in Brandon, FL. Alphonso graduated from Riverview High School. Alphonso was a Manager at McDonalds and known for his smile and customer service to those who frequented the establishment. Alphonso had a heart of gold and was always there for his family and friends. Alphonso will be remembered as a giant teddy bear/angel on earth, and for his smile and stature as he entered the room.  Alphonso loved listening to music, watching movies, and playing video games with his friends. He will be deeply missed by his mother, father, sister, and entire family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Alphonso Sams Sr.; mother, Carol Sams; sister, Kimberly Sams; and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
