Mr. Andrew James Campbell of Thonotosassa, FL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, with Pastor Dexter McCree, Officiating.
Andrew was born on May 19, 1961, to the late Johnny L. Campbell and Dorothy P. Campbell in Ft. Myers, Arcadia, Florida. Andrew was the fifth of nine children. He attended Hillsborough County Public Schools and graduated from Tampa Bay Technical High School. He was a member of New Testament Missionary Baptist Church in Thonotosassa, FL.
Andrew was known for his radiant smile and gentle heart. He worked in the Tampa Bay area for several years as a warehouse employee. He lived a good life and absolutely loved having a good time, especially while drinking his Bud Light.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Johnny and Dorothy Campbell; brother, Gerald Campbell and sister, Gwendolyn Henderson.
Andrew leaves to cherish his loving memory: his beautiful daughter, Andrea Campbell; his devoted son, Perry Campbell; six siblings, Beverly Campbell, Rodney Campbell, Johnny Campbell (Delphine), Arthur Campbell (Ruth), Nathan Campbell, and Angela Harrison, all of Tampa, Florida; his best friend, Julia Tolbert; sister-in-law, Elera Campbell; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many caring family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with Reflections at 6:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
