Mr. Anthione Jones of Tampa received his wings Thursday, July 3, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue with Reverend Frank Watson, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
Mr. Anthione Jones was born the eighth child of Charlie and Bessie Jones. He was a native of Tampa, FL, for 63 years. He was always known for being a quiet soul. He will be remembered for his love of a Big Buford burger, fries, and Diet Coke from Checkers. Anthione attended Jefferson High School and was a member of the band. He served in the United States Marine Corps with an Honorable Discharge in 1981.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Charlie and Bessie Jones; brothers, Clarence Jones and Charles E. Jones, Sr; sister, Yvonne Waters; nieces, Anquinette Waters-Coleman and LaTanya Hardy; and nephew, Wilbur Jones Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his sister, Marva Hardy (Edward) Bradenton, FL; sister and caregiver, Joyce McNeal (Willie) Tampa, FL; brothers Wilbur Jones (Betty), Tampa, FL, and Thomas Jones (Ruby), Atlanta, GA; cousin/brother, Malachi Jones (Deborah) St. Petersburg, FL; nephews, Jivaro, Antinori, Tajar, Sebastain, Devin, Rashidi, Shawn, and Charles, Jr; nieces, Marvette, Kristina, Monica, Kimberly, Monica, Mandisa, Kenya, April, and Monea; 17 great nephews; 18 great nieces; 22 great great nephews; 18 great great nieces; 1 great great great nephew; 1 great great great niece; and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
