Mr. Benjamin Boderick Jr.

Mr. Benjamin “Ben” Boderick Jr. of Tampa passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, 4:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.

Mr. Benjamin Boderick Jr. was a native and resident of Tampa for 56 years. He attended the Hillsborough County public school system. Ben is a 1985 graduate of Hillsborough High School and was a member of the Big Red Marching Band and the JROTC Drum and Bugle Corp. After graduating, he went on to join the Army National Guard.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Alberta Faye Bruce Boderick, and Benjamin Boderick Sr; uncles, Cleo Boderick, John Bruce Jr., and Willie C. Boderick; aunt, Lucille Boderick, and Ruby Boderick; and cousin, Debbie Austin.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Coeletta Boderick, Benjamin III, Benitra, Oneshia, and Shaquieal; granddaughter, Raquel Taylor; brother, Marcus Boderick; bonus brother, Joseph Allen; sister-in-law, Torri; bonus mothers, Darlene Bruce, and Alma Boderick; aunts, Pansie Robinson of Tampa, FL, Lois Lassiter of Alamogordo NM, Inez Bruce, Jeanie Mae Bruce, Annette Burton All of El Paso, TX, and Alma Bruce of CA; uncle, Chuck Bruce of El Paso, TX;  nieces, Jnai, Shania, Maliah, and Jaycee; cousins, Yvonne, Kenny Brown, Eddie James Boderick, Yvette Morgan, Stanley Boderick, Janet Boderick, Danny Boderick, Wayne Brown and Cynthia Brown, all of Tampa Florida, John John Lassiter of Colorado, Johnny Bruce of San Francisco, CA., Elizabeth Bruce, Alice Bruce of CA and WA, Jessica, JR Bruce, Shaunna, Chris, Keisha and Crystal Burton of El Paso and Houston, TX; and a host of other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
