Mr. Bryan Waddell Obituary

Mr. Bryan Willis Waddell (Ret. Army) of Brandon, FL passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 with Elder Christopher Mastin, officiating.

Bryan Willis Waddell was born November 6, 1961, in Long Branch, NJ to Janet and Willis Lee Waddell. Bryan joined the military after graduating high school, where he remained until his 20-year retirement from the US Army as a Sgt in Fort Hood, TX. After his retirement, he headed home to Tampa, FL to settle down. He worked at MacDill Airforce Base for 19 years as a Security Guard Officer. He enjoyed baseball and was a true Mets fan.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Janet Waddell; and father, Willis Lee Waddell.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his sisters, Cathy Fountain, Sherry Howard, Terry Dudley, and Anjeanett Waddell; brother-in-law, Stephen Fountain; best friend of over 20 years, Frederick Tillman; and a host of Tampa nieces and nephews and New Jersey cousins.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
