Mr. Calvin “PA” Jenkins Sr. of Bradenton, FL passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 5909 Vel Street, Wimauma, FL 33598 with Minister Levern Stephens, Officiating. Interment will follow in Wimauma Community Cemetery, 6012 Edina Street, Wimauma, FL 33598.
Calvin Jenkins was a native of Wimauma, FL and a resident of Bradenton, FL for many years. He attended Sun City/Bethene High School and was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of Rubonia, FL. He retired from Kennco Manufacturing many years ago.
He is preceded in death by: his wife, Annie Jenkins; parents, Charlie Sr. and Leola Jenkins; sons, Calvin Jenkins Jr, and Mark Jenkins; great grandson, Tristan Bowens; brothers, Harrison Jenkins, Otis Jenkins Sr.; sister, Kelsie Smith; and ex-wife, Leola Jenkins.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter, Darlenia Jenkins of Temple Terrace, FL; sons, Byron Jenkins Sr. (Tashona) of Tampa, FL, and Antonio Jenkins of Bradenton, FL; brother, Charlie Jenkins of Cape Coral, FL; granddaughters, Latrenda Jenkins (Michael), Tikia Bowens, Carolyn Jenkins, Jennifer Braxton (Weston), Precious Jenkins, and Quanesha Jenkins, US Navy of California; grandsons, Adrain Jenkins (Ladonna), Calvin Jenkins III (Ashley), Dimitri Smith (Sade), Byron Christopher Jenkins (Shadreka), Byron Jenkins Jr., and Bradley Stroud; 17 great grandsons; 15 great granddaughters; special friend, Fred Felder of Bradenton, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
