Mr. Charlie Johnson, Jr. Obituary

Mr. Charlie William Johnson, Jr. of Tampa, FL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.  Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Greater Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 1207 N. Jefferson Street, Tampa, FL 33601, with Reverend Arthur L. Green, Jr., Officiating. A private interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.

He graduated from Howard W. Blake High School Class of 1965 and is a graduate of Florida A&M University. He also served honorably in the United States Army’s naval division. Charlie was a committed coach and mentor for the West Tampa Eagles Little League football team.

He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Maceda and Michelle Page, along with a host of family and friends.

 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. Also, on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Greater Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 1207 N. Jefferson Street, Tampa, FL 33601.
