Mr. Christopher Charles Johnson, Sr. of Tampa, FL, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Beulah Baptist Institutional Church, 1006 W. Cypress Street, Tampa, FL 33606, with Dr. Antonio R. Hawkins, Senior Pastor of Exciting Faith Alive Church, Officiating. Friends are asked to assemble at the church at approximately 1:45 p.m. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
Mr. Johnson, a native of Tampa, lived there his entire life. He attended H. B. Plant High School and was a graduate in the Class of 2005. He also attended Solano Community College, Fairfield, CA and the University of Wyoming, Laramie, WY. He was employed as a Warehouse Logistics Manager at Brands Distribution.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by: his Great-Grandmother, Minnie Mae Woodson; Grandmother, Betty Dugar; and Grandfathers, Willie C. Johnson, Sr. and Bernard Albury.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his children, Christopher Johnson, Jr., Kenai Johnson, Caliope Johnson, Kaison Dunkley, and Z-Kai Johnson; his biological parents, Willie C. Johnson, Sr. and Wanda Albury; his loving parents who raised him, Ronald and Michelle Johnson-Bush; his loving grandmother, Ruby Johnson; his brothers, Willie Johnson, Jr., Tyron Bell (LaShawn), and Ryan Albury; his sisters, Toni Johnson, Christina Bell-Bowers (Jason), Rontavia Bush, and Loreal Bush; his uncles, Jeffery Johnson, Mark Johnson (Shana), Marcus Johnson, Percy Johnson, Darren Johnson, Charles Johnson, and Leo Albury; his aunts, Evelyn Brooks (Oliver), Dyronda Myles, Cheylene Johnson, Tonya Baker (Kim), and Michelle Green; six nephews; fifteen nieces; Godmother, Rhonesia Dennard; his devoted companion, Karra Dunkley; and his best friends, Taurean Toliver, Zettis Stallworth, Keith Holton, and Travis Gant; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and sorrowing friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
