Mr. DelaRosa Blair Jr. Obituary

Mr. DelaRosa Blair of Tampa, FL, passed away on September 26, 2025.  A funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Northside Missionary Baptist Church, 5706 N. 40th St, Tampa, FL 33610, with Rev. Leonard Harrington, Pastor, Officiating and Rev. Ernest Boone, Eulogist.

Brother DelaRosa Blair Jr., a native Floridian and a resident of Tampa for 44 years, graduated from Hillsborough High School, Hillsborough Community College and also attended Full Sail University.

Throughout his life, he was a devoted member of Northside Missionary Baptist Church and later became a member of Great Commission Church under the leadership of Reverend Ernest Boone. Reverend Boone not only embraced him into the body of Christ but also treated him as a son. Dela recently joined The City of Restoration, under the leadership of Drs. O’Neil and Georgia Salmon.

Dela was known for his independence, fun-loving nature, and unwavering support for LeBron James.  He enjoyed playing basketball, football, gaming and creating musical beats.  If I had to describe the perfect song for him, it would be Frank Sinatra’s “I Did It My Way.”

Sarah Robinson; uncles, Jose Blair Sr., Bryan Hudson Sr., and Jacob Jordan Jr.; niece, Keyonna Jacobs; cousins, Jaime Hughes, Byran Hudson Jr., Taeshod Andrews, Pastor Ricardo Robinson and Shenita Robinson-Williams.
