Mr. Derrick Jackson

Mr. Derrick D. Jackson of Riverview, FL passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, with Pastor Larry J. Mouton. The interment will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, 11:30 a.m. in Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513.

Derrick D. Jackson was a native of Florida and a resident of Tampa for 64 years. He attended Hillsborough High School and retired as an Environmental Service Technician at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Phyllis Jackson; cherished children, Dionne Jackson, Tyronske Felton, Keshonda Jackson, Derrick Bartlett (Jabronica), Jasmine Tiscareno (Miguel), Anthony Collins, and Marc George; grandchildren, Damari Ferrell, Ladainian Ferrell, Timothy Ashley II, Keiyon Ashley, Royce Jackson, Ahmaji Felton, and Amelia Felton; beloved sisters, Shelia Young (Joshua), and Cynthia Johnson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and cousins.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
