Mr. Don’te Hassan Williams Sr. of Tampa, FL, transitioned on Sunday, June 8, 2025. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, 11:00 am at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue Tampa, FL 33606. The interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Don’te Hassan Williams Sr. was born January 28, 1975, to Roosevelt Williams and Wanda Denise Thompson. Don’te Williams matriculated through the public schools of Hillsborough County, earning his high school diploma. Don’te was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. In a world where life has its uncertainties, one thing that remained constant was the special bond he shared with his loved ones. His friends were his brothers, not by blood but brothers of the heart. He was a devoted employee for Lambert Cable and Splicing, where he quickly climbed the ranks to Inspector due to his hard work and dedication. Don’te loved music and was known for his ability to create beats, write rhymes, and he performed locally and abroad. Most importantly, Don’te was a true friend, and he loved hard and showed up for you undoubtedly each time there was a need.

Don’te was preceded in death by: his father, Roosevelt Williams; his grandparents, Roosevelt Thompson and Alice Thompson; his brother, Roosevelt Williams Jr.; and his uncles, Roosevelt Thompson Jr., William Thompson, and Robert Miller Sr.

Don’te leaves behind a legacy of loved ones to cherish his priceless memories: a loving mother, Ms. Wanda Thompson; two sons, Don’te Hasan Williams Jr. (Jocelyn) of San Antonio, TX, and Tamare’ Carswell of Valrico, FL;  precious daughter, Nailah Williams (Nunu) of Tampa, FL; 4 sisters, VeroniQue Swain, Tiffany Hobbs, Secunda Marrara, Rotwanda Holloway all of Tampa, FL; 2 brothers, Christopher Hobbs of Bennington, AR, and Jack Teed (Vicky) of Seffner, FL; nephew, Daylin Martin of Tampa, FL; niece, Danielle Martin of Tampa, FL; grandson, Dinero Williams of San Antonio, TX; 2 uncles, Ronald Thompson and Gregory Thompson both of Tampa, FL; significant other, Tiara Carswell of Valrico, FL; his closest friends, Gene Baker, Kareem Nelson, Gabriel Toro, Calvin Bryant, and Lawrence Ross all of Tampa, FL; and a host of sorrowing cousins, relatives, friends, colleagues, and neighbor.

Don’te will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and his memories will be cherished forever.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
