Mr. Douglas Adam Yawn

Mr. Douglas A. Yawn of Tampa, FL passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 with Pastor Donald Lott, Officiating. Interment will follow in Hillsboro Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511.

Douglas A. Yawn was born on September 8, 1961.  He was a native of Cleveland, OH, and a resident of Tampa, FL for 18 years. He attended East High School in Cleveland, OH. He was employed by the United States Navy for 20 years as a Chief Petty Officer, retiring in 2006. He also worked as a Loan Guarantee for the Veteran Affairs Loan Center, retiring in 2019. He was an amazing family man.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 38 years, Jackie Yawn; son, Dwayne Yawn; daughter, Melody Yawn; grandchildren, Izaiah, Malykai, Destiny, and Adele.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
