Mr. Eddie D. Jordan of Tampa, FL, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at New Season Apostolic Ministries, Inc., 7416 E. Mohawk Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610, with Apostle Samuel S. Hunt Sr., Officiating and Bishop Samuel L. Washington Sr., Eulogist. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
Mr. Jordan was born on March 16, 1929, in Calhoun County, GA, to John and Daisy Jordan.
Eddie was a resident of Tampa, FL, for 80 years and attended Booker T. Washington High School. He was employed as a Grounds Custodian at Lowry Park.
Eddie was a Christian man who loved the Lord and loved telling others about the Lord. He was a member of New Season Apostolic Ministries, Inc. with Bishop Samuel Washington.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, John and Daisy Jordan; wife, Inez Jordan; daughter, Gloria Slater; sons, Eddie Jordan II, Tony Jordan and Johnell Bolds; grandchildren, Charles Slater, Cyntrina Partrick and Auyonna Felder; sisters, Sara and Mattie and his brothers, Robert, Jacob, Johnny, and Solomon.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: sons, Rudolph Martin (Zeronica), and Johnny Jordan; daughter, Margaret Greer (Alex); sisters, Lovie James and Daisy Gaines; grandchildren, Lisa, Yolanda (Otha), Renaldo, Theresa (Adrian), Shon (Deasia), Ivy, Theron, Joe, Lashon (Sid), Craig (Shaquita), Michael, Rodney (Charla), Nicole (Reshay), Kevin, Gloria, Eddie, Anisha, Tanya, Arnetta, Antonio, Anton, Ashley, Ashika, Anthony, Alex, Alexis, Tony, Tonio, Atani, Tino and Chad; 62 great grandchildren; 35 great- great grandchildren; and a host of other sorrowing family members and friends that will miss him tremendously.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
