Mr. Fredrick Nunn

Fredrick Nunn of Tampa, FL passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at Bethel AME Church, 5001 Cumberland Drive, Tampa, FL 33617 with Pastor Ricky Polk, Officiating. The Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610. MASK RECOMMENDED.

Fredrick Nunn was born on December 1, 1965, in Tampa, Florida. Fredrick was a funny, music-loving person who enjoyed a good burger and fries. He had a pure heart and was known as the gentle giant who always had a smile on his face. He was loved by ALL, and everyone knew him as Freddie "the LOVER." He wanted everyone to join his club and was always on the lookout for a girlfriend.

Fredrick attended Saint Peter Claver Catholic School and LaVoy Exceptional Center. He started his career at Kash & Karry Grocery Store and later worked at Publix Grocery Store.

Fredrick worshipped at Bethel AME Church. He enjoyed listening to an eclectic range of music and always wanted CDs burned for his collection. Freddie wasn't the oldest, but he was the BOSS of all his brothers and sister.

He was preceded in death by: his grandfather, Robert A. Nunn Sr.; grandmother, Doretha Nunn; stepfather, Rene’ Govantes; and father, Lycurgus Charles Patrick Sr.

Fredrick is survived by: his mother, Cynthia Govantes; brothers, Curtis C. Patrick Jr (Nina), Russell White, and Alloysius Tyson Sr.; sister, Carmen Y. McCray (Sean); uncles, Robert A. Nunn Jr. (Diane), Warren E. Nunn (Lorraine), and Alfred Nunn; nephews, Brandon Patrick, Jordan Patrick, Dominic White, Demetri White, and Alloysius Tyson Jr.; nieces, Marquita White, Bianca McCray, Khadijah McCray, Joi' McCray, Samone White, and Salia White; great grandnieces, Shameera Jae Williams, Myah Rene’ Brown, and Bianca Niche’ Gibbs; great nephew, Ayden Williams; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and very close friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel. MASK RECOMMENDED.
