Mr. Henry W. Pride of Atrium Gardens passed away on Sunday November 27, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 10, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at Bethel A.M.E Church, 5001 Cumberland Drive Tampa FL 33617 with Rev. Ricky A. Polk, Officiating. Interment to follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. MASK RECOMMENDED.
Mr. Henry W. Pride was a native of Miccosukee, FL. He was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church and graduated from Howard W. Blake High School Class of 1960, where he will always be remembered as “Yellow Jacket” at heart.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Henry Pride; mother, Rose Lawrence (Solomon); grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Josh Brown (Lina); daughter, Trealaney Pride; and niece, Gail Davis Lee.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his sons, Reginald Pride, and Kerron Pride; sister, Lue Henry Pride Davis; grandson, T. Pride; nephew, Gary Davis; great nephews, LeVar Roseboro, and Willie Ballard; great nieces, Ebony Davis, Ciara Davis, Dreama Davis, and Tonesha Davis; cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Green of Miccosukee FL., Mary Pride Brown and Pete Pride of Tallahassee FL., Sadie Seay of St. Petersburg FL., The Lawrence Families, Brenda Lindsey; Betty Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Green Sr., Mr and Mrs. Stanley Green of Orlando FL., and Kathy Graham of Tampa, FL.; uncle, Samuel Livingston of New York, and B.J. Stewart; and devoted friends, Harold Wilson (Alaska), Frazier Hawkins (Miami), Henry Carley, Earnest Reece, George Braxton, and Mildred Myles.
