Mr. Henry Robinson

Mr. Henry Robinson of Tampa, FL passed away on Thursday January 12, 2023. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 28, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue Tampa FL 33606 with Reverend Reginald Franklin, Officiating. MASK RECOMMENDED.

Mr. Robinson was a native of Greensboro, FL, and a resident of Tampa for many years.  He was a self-employed Truck Driver for over 60 years and traveled the road and highways.  The love for driving trucks carried over to his son, the late Henry Jr. and two of his Grandsons, Henry, and Dontae.  Henry drove Big Rigs (tractor trailers) until he was 84 years old.  Henry has mentored many aspiring truck drivers and befriended so many more.  Cowboy boots, hat, blue jeans, button down shirt, hands in his pockets, that was Mr. Henry.  He will be greatly missed by everyone he touched.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Henry and Addie Robinson; Wife, Annie L. Robinson; Son, Henry Robinson Jr.; three Brothers, James, Moses, and Dave; and three Sisters, Edna, Essie Mae, and Lola Mae.

He leaves to cherish in fond memories: his daughter’s, Rhonda Kirkland, Marie Carlyie, Mattie Smith, and Cynthia McMillon; Sons, Gregory Robinson (Angie), Michael Newman (Earline), Johnathan Robinson (Teresa), and Nicholas Robinson (Ashley); Siblings, Mary Ann Watkins, Easter Lee Joseph (Larry), Dorothy Robinson, and Eva Mae Williams; and a host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.

The visitation will be held on Friday January 27, 2023, from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue Tampa, Fl 33606. MASK RECOMMENDED.
