Mr. Ivory Joseph Brown

Ivory Brown of Tampa, FL, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33602, with Elder Michael Savage, Officiating.

Ivory was born on June 25, 1990, in Hillsborough County.  He attended the Hillsborough County Public Schools, including Chamberlain High School. He worked at Texas Roadhouse in Tampa until his health declined.  Ivory enjoyed playing spades and fishing with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by:  his father, Robert E. Brown Jr.; great-grandmothers and great-grandfather, Allene and Horace Lee Hardrick, and Rosa Bell Clary; grandfather, Joseph Ivory Franklin; great-aunt, Allie Preston; great-uncles, Charlie Preston Sr. and Randy Clary; aunties and uncles, Patricia (Leon) Mack, Matilda Richardson, Gary Preston, and Curtis Hardrick.

Ivory leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Patricia Stanley; daughter, Ivy Rose Brown; grandmother, Mrs. Jessie Preston; brothers, Robert E. Brown III, Eugene Myles III and Dondre Brown; sister, Shamayne Stanley of Lakeland, Florida; great aunties, Dorothy Delma, Emma (Roger) Price, Thelma Preston, Ruth Howard, and Linda Preston, all of Tampa; Alberta Sykes, Maxine Anderson and Mary Chambers, all of Tallahassee, FL; aunties, Mary (Bernard) Gallon, Maggie (Clarence) Brown, Ieisha Watson, Shanika Watson and Robin Watson; great uncles, Willie Frank Clary; uncle, James (Connie) Stanley; nephews, Justin Stanley, Clark and Jordan Ashley; niece, Raigan Ranece Brown; stepbrother, George Hill Jr.; God brother, Andrian Kegler; special friend, Jaylon Horton; and a host of cousins and friends.
