Mr. Jalen Jaquan Evans, Sr.

Mr. Jalen JaQuan Evans Sr. of Tampa, FL, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026.  Homegoing Services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, with Pastor Donald Lott, Officiating.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Jalen Evans was born and raised in Tampa, FL.  He attended Jefferson High School and was employed as a Warehouse Worker at Ontrack.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved sons, Jalen Jr., Jamar and Jace; his mother, Latoya Andrews; his father, Cory Evans Sr.; his brother, Cory Evans Jr.; his sisters, Alexis Williams, Autumn Williams, Alexis Evans and ShaCori Evans; his great grandmother, Dr. Massalena B. Echols; his aunts, Shawanda Spencer, Linda Evans, Monique Brown, Ikesha Andrews, Tia Evans and Erica Harrison; his grandfather, Danny V. Evans Sr. (Sharon); his uncles, Curtis Brown (Val), Cedrick Andrews, Maurice Nolen, Danny Evans Jr., and Torey Damen; his nieces, Nova Evans, Arya Howard and Amora Evans; his nephew, Cyncere Evans; his God Aunts, Carla Jones and Celeste Andrews and a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
