On Friday, July 26, 2024. Jerome Lamar Jumper (Sio) unexpectedly passed away to be with our Heavenly Father.
On 03/03/1980 God blessed us with Jerome L Jumper also known as Sio. It is now with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jerome, our beloved barber, grill master, mediator, counselor, husband, Father, son, and brother. Jerome left us surrounded by his loving family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, wisdom, and love that will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
Jerome was a master of many trades. As a barber he made everyone who sat in his chair feel special, always offering a listening ear and a kind word. His skills extended beyond the clippers to the grill, where he was known for his delicious BBQ that had brought family and friends together.
A natural mediator and counselor, Jerome had a unique ability to resolve conflicts and provide guidance. His wisdom and understanding made him a trusted confidant to many. Jerome’s role as a husband and a father was central to his life and his family was his greatest joy. His love and dedication to us are evident in everything that he did.
Jerome had a deep love for music, he loved listening to as well as making music. He leaves behind many songs that will continue to resonate in our memories.
Jerome loved animals and the outdoors. He found peace in nature, especially during walks in the park or fishing at the pond with his son or feeding the ducks. His love of the outdoors extends to his love of children and keeping them active and happy.
Jerome was a great person whose Kindness, generosity and love for others will be remembered always. He leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Preceded in death by his twins Jaleel L. Jumper and Jernee L. Jumper, Father Jerome E. Jumper, and mother in laws Kaylor Bea and Sharon Bea.
Jerome L Jumper is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Karlieta M. Jumper, His son Jaden L. Thomas- Jumper, His daughter Justus L. Jumper, His loving mother Phyllis Hayes, Loving brother Mitchell Willis, Brother in laws James Hudson, Austin Bea, Justin Bea and Karl Bea, Sister In Laws, Kalor Yancey, Sarah Moore and Kenyarda Bea. Uncles, Morris (Valerie) Hayes , Mitchell (Miriam) Hayes. His nephews Raekwon Willis, Rasheem (Barry) Kinard and Jacobi Hollis, Nieces Romesha Willis, Elizebeth Durham, Jasmine Yancy and Queen Brown and a host of cousins and friends.
