Mr. Jimmie Lee Jorden Jr. of Tampa, FL passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Generational Ministries, 1234 S. 82nd Street, Tampa, FL 33619 with Prophet Dwayne House, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
Jimmie Lee Jorden Jr., son of the Jimmie Lee Jorden Sr. and Katie Lou Woodley Jorden was born January 28, 1955, in Greenwood Mississippi. Jimmie confessed Christ as his personal Savior. He attended East Bay High School and was very active in sports. He was a loving, devoted, compassionate, jovial person. He loved life and lives it to the fullness. He loves his mother, Katie Lou, and has a special bond with his brothers and sisters. He was a loving father. Jimmie was very business minded. He followed his father into the Farm Labor Business and continued to enjoy a hard-working life until life end.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Jimmie Lee Jorden Sr.; brothers, Roy Lee Jorden and Casey Jorden; sister, Cheri L. Jorden; grandparents, Ms. Lou Emma Stokes, Mr. John, and Mary Walker.
Lasting and loving memories are cherished by: his loving wife, Antoinette T Jorden; 6 Children, Daphne D. Jones and Lowonda L. Jorden of Tampa, Fl., Paige (Stacey) Wiilliams of Greensboro, NC; Crystal Lovett of Spartanburg, SC, and Toshay Thomas and Reginald Hammond of Avon Park, Fl.; his loving and most precious mother, Mrs. Katie Lou Jorden of Ona, Fl.; brothers, Colonel Willie C. (Wanda) Jordan of Lucama, NC, and Eddie Lewis Jorden and Henry Lee Jorden of Ona, Fl.; Sister, Macy L Caldwell of Wimauma, Fl.; sister and brothers-in-law, Jessie Mae Clark, James (Jennifer) Tillman, and Carolyn (Jerry) Malware all of Belle Glade, Fl.; 9 grandchildren, Keith T. Jones Jr, Camya Lovett, King Brown, Cameron Williams, Cannon Williams, Madison Williams, Ethan Williams, Roscoe Gordon, and Kennedy Gordon; 2 special and honorary cousins, Booker (Carrie) Woodley and Johnnie Jorden Jr (Shinny); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Generational Ministries, 1235 S. 82nd Street, Tampa, FL 33619.
