Mr. Joseph E. White of Tampa, FL, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, with Pastor Gregory Mason, Officiating.
Mr. Joseph E. White was born on December 24th, 1948, in Tampa Florida, to the late James and Mattie J. White. As a native of Tampa, he began formal education at St. Peter Claver Catholic School and attended Howard W. Blake High school. Joseph attended Speak Life Church as a faithful member.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, James and Mattie J. White; four sisters, Margaret W. McMillian, Lottie W. Goodman, Blanche Gathers, and Rosa W. Sullivan; and niece, Joyce McMillian.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughters, Michelle White and Ebony White; sons, Joseph Blakely (Krystal), Joseph White (Rhonda), Willie Williams, and Devin Dunson (Gabi); sister, Lois W. Nimmons (James); two brothers, Benjamin White (Ernestine), and George White (Betty); grandchildren, Javon Green, Robert Mason III, Robert Mason IV, Renell Mason, Gary Onzy Jr., Desmond Vance, Shenay Pickett Klental Peterson, Dajhania Keefer, Alshanti Riggins, and Mikesha Griffin; great grandchildren, Jaiya and Javon Green, Zeniya, Jonathan, Wendell, and Zehavya; nieces, Yolanda, Jaime, and Karen; nephews, Eddie, Frederick, Sean, Mikael, and Desmond; and a host of loving family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
