Mr. Kem T. Pressley of Tampa, FL, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Ambassador of Christ Church, 704 E. Humphrey Street, Tampa, FL 33604.
Kem T. Pressley was a devoted native of Tampa, FL. He attended Plant High and a host of other schools in Florida. He was employed with U.S WATERS of Clearwater, and when he wasn't working, he was building his dreams. He spent most of his time as a family man and a devoted father to his amazing children.
He was preceded in death by: his loving father, Charles Pressley; sister, Tina Sims; grandparents, William G. Peterson and Ollie Peterson; and aunts, Charlie Mae Eady, Mae Willow, Lula Daniels, Marie, and Lester.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted mom, Patricia Singleton; children, Kimberly Gipson, Jessica Gipson, Erica Gipson, DeAndre Pressley, Xavier Pressley, and Matteo Strowbridge; grandchildren that he created an exceptional bond with, Andre Scott, Jessiah Goodman, Jashira Williams, Janaris Reeves, Jamarion Reeves, and many more; siblings, Kitt "Tesha" Singleton, Kandace Singleton, and Victoria Pressley; uncle, Victor Peterson; and aunt, Gwendolyn Thomas; nieces, Destynee Murphy, and Rhema Sims; nephews, Jhordan Singleton, Destin Murphy, and Dakota Thompson; and his village of cousins, uncles, aunts, nephews, friends, homies, neighbors, coworkers, and others that was created out of love.
The family would like to extend the upmost love and gratitude to Ms. Tawana Edwards for her devoted time, patience, and love she showed to Kem and his family. We thank you and appreciate you from the bottom of our hearts.
To anyone who may have been missed, you are not forgotten but loved.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
