Mr. Kivaughn Demon Polite

Mr. Kivaughn Polite of Tampa, FL, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.  Funeral Services will be private.

Kivaughn was a native of Tampa and a resident for 44 years.  He attended Chamberlain High School and Erwin Technical College.  He was employed as a Forklift Driver at GA Foods in St. Petersburg, FL.

He was preceded in death by:  his grandmothers, Priscilla Anthony and Annie Mae Wimbush; grandfather, Jimmy Lee Beasley; and son, Brandon “BJ”.

He leaves to cherish his memories:  his loving wife, Shamica Polite; children, Kivaughn Jr., Keonia, Brandi, Janetta, Ki’yrra, Ke’niecia, Erin, and Sy’ion; grandchildren, Samira Hayes, Kimari Polite, Jasani Polite and Kataleya Polite (due in November); mother, Nazrine Beasley; father, John Samuel Polite III; grandfather, John Samuel Polite Sr., siblings, Devon (Applonia) Polite, Deuntarious (Erin) Jamison, Tacara Polite, Polynice Polite, Lamisha Polite, Caria Polite, Dontell Polite, Malik Polite, and Jerel Mack; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
