Mr. L. T. Lee

Mr. L. T. Lee of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church of Highland Pines, 4711 E. 21st Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33605, with Minister Judy Evans, officiating. MASKS RECOMMENDED. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Lee was born on December 31, 1940 in Jackson, Mississippi and relocated to Tampa at the early age of 10. He remained a resident of Tampa until his parting day. He was educated in the Hillsborough County Public Schools system and graduated from Middleton High School. He was a member of the University Baptist Church where he served as an Usher. Mr. Lee had an extensive employment history ranging from Westinghouse to the railroad system. He also owned a lawn service business. In addition, worked for over 12 years with the Hillsborough County Sheriff Office as a Crossing Guard at Paul Mort Elementary School.

Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his mother, Ally Dell Tally; father, Albert Lee, Sr.; two sons, Lewis Lee and Johnny Frank Lee; sisters and brothers, as well as several other relatives.

He leaves to cherish his loving and kind heartfelt memories, his forever love/wife, Linda Lee; son, Kenneth Lee; four daughters, Velveteen Anderson, Janashika Lee, Latoria Lee and Chandra Lee; grandchildren, Kendra Lee, Brittany Preston, Maurice Singleton, Ja’Darriyon Jordan, Ky’mari Riley, Ty’Quez Ellison, Kareem King, Khalia Kelly, Shermaine Mabra, Lashanna Lee, Shakeria Thomas, Vernon Lee, Jason Speight, Markel Johnson, Jaiya Lee; and, a host of great grandchildren and other relatives. Although L.T. is gone, he will never be forgotten. His lasting love and memories shall continue to follow us throughout life.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33606. MASKS RECOMMENDED.
