Mr. Michael Addison Sr. of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, with Pastor Donald Lott, Officiating.
Mr. Michael Addison Sr. was born to Dorothy Davison Hightower on January 7, 1958, in Clearwater, Florida. He was a native of Clearwater and a resident of Tampa, Florida, for 68 years. He attended Brandon High School and graduated with the Class of 1976. He was employed as a truck driver for Venture Logistics. Michael was an avid music enthusiast who loved music to his core. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching movies from the comfort of his recliner and spending quality time with his family.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Horace Jerrell, his stepfather, Otis Hightower and his sister, Sandra Bradford.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted wife of 36 years, Vernadine Addison; daughter, Felcia Addison; son, Michael Addison and wife Donna Addison; son, Marcus Addison and wife Alexis Addison; two grandchildren, Elisha Addison and Erayah Addison; mother, Dorothy Davison Hightower; siblings, Connie Addison, Lafonda Hightower, Sophia Hightower, Tonia Hightower, Erik Hightower, Horace Jerrell Jr., Yolanda Hill and husband Sean Hill; sibling-in-laws, Pamela Johnson, Margaret Standberry, Wanza Knott and husband Moses Knott, Artis Larry and William Bradford; Along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
