Mr. Michael Renard Albury Sr.

Mr. Michael Albury Sr. of Tampa, FL, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive AME Church, 1902 W. LaSalle Street, Tampa, FL 33608, with Elder James Johnson, Officiating; Dr. Charlie A.D. Sampson, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Michael Renard Albury, Sr. 61 of Thonotosassa, FL entered eternal rest on Monday, July 7, 2025, in Tampa. He was born in Tampa, FL on September 25, 1963, to Louis Sr. and Lela Mae Albury.

Michael attended Jefferson High School from 1979-1981. He started his professional career working at B&E Electric for his uncle Bernard in outside sales selling electrical supplies and equipment. He then made a career change working in the Reclaim Department at GSP Marketing Technologies in Clearwater. In later years he was employed with Stadium Lincoln Mercury and Stadium Toyota as a Porter. Eventually, he went back to GSP Companies and ended his career in 2020.

Michael enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. He had an infectious laugh that could be heard across a room, and you knew it was him. He was always smiling and having a good time and was an avid fisherman. Making new friends was easy for him and he did that wherever he went.

He is predeceased by his parents, Louis Sr. & Lela Mae Albury, siblings Louis Albury Jr., Anthony Albury & Denise Cogman.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sabrina Albury; Sons: Michael Albury Jr., Trevarus Albury & Torrance Brock, Grandchildren: Michael II, Mykeria, Makayla, Michael, Makhi, Tre’Miaya, Makiaya, Trevarus Jr., Laila, Tre’Sean, Tre’Marion, ZaNyla Albury, Ta’Naj Rahmerz & Na’Ahri Chanel Brock, Siblings: Bernard Albury (Cecilia), Gail Jackson (Jessie), and Lenard Albury (Lenora). He was very close to his in-laws, Harry Jr., Valerie, Kyle, Demetra, Theon, and Monique. Special Friends Reggie Harris, Elena Ward, and Shana.  He has a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who loved him dearly.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
