Mr. Nathaniel "Nate" Williams Obituary

Mr. Nathaniel “Nate” Williams of Tampa, FL, peacefully entered the sunset of life on Sunday, August 17, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 10:00 a.m. at The Center for Manifestation Church, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610, with Pastor Abram Jones. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Mr. Nathaniel “Nate” Williams was a native of Tampa for 51 years. He graduated from Leto High School in the Class of 1993. He was employed as a contractor at BMS.  Nate was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a generous soul who gave of himself freely and will be remembered for his unwavering loyalty, remarkable strength, sense of humor, and the love he carried for his family. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Nate proudly graduated from Leto High School in 1993, marking the start of a life built on hard work and dedication. At the age of 21, Nate began his career as a truck driver, skillfully navigating 18-wheelers across countless miles. A few years later, he became a driver for a moving company, where his unmatched ability to pack and lift earned him the nickname “The Machine,” as he seemed almost superhuman when it came to moving. Outside of work, Nate found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was an avid football fan, faithfully cheering on the Florida Gators and the Denver Broncos. Above all, his greatest pride and joy was his family, whom he loved deeply and unconditionally.

Nate was preceded in death by: his father, Mack Williams Jr.; brother, Nolan Williams; grandparents, Willie D. Pittman Sr. and Roselle Jacksonville Pittman; and uncles and aunts, Dennis Pittman, Jessie Pittman, Willie Pittman Jr., Leroy Pittman, John Pittman, Christine Pittman, Nannie Mae Jones, and Dorothy Pittman.
