Mr. Reginold James

Mr. Reginold James of Tampa, Florida passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive AME Church, 1902 W. La Salle Street, Tampa, FL 33607 with Pastor Edward Hope, Officiating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, FL 33610.

Mr. Reginold James was a native of Ocala FL and a resident of Tampa FL for 48 years. He attended Bethune-Cookman University. He was employed as a Truck Driver at R. C. Moore Transportation. 

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Betty James; sons, Michael Small (Veronica) Keldren Ricks (Staci), Daren James, Tremane James Sr., and Rev Mikel James (Jasmine); daughters, Tyshiro Ricks, Erin James, and Michelle James; grandchildren, Aleshia Coleman (Michael), Imani Howard, Reginal James Jr., Michael Small Jr., Remari James, Tyla Ransom, Daren James Jr, Remarion James, Tre’Miya James, Brianna Land, Tremane James Jr., Jaelynn Mann, Kali Ricks, Treasure James, Trevor James, Kaci Ricks, Chaze Pickney, Jaylin Huggins, Mikenzie James, and Drey Wheeler; great- grandchildren, Ai’Yana, Devonte, A’Liyah, M’Kayla, Messiah, M’Kari, and Alani Neveah; siblings, Jerry James III, and Michael James; aunt, Dolly Parnell; uncle, Harry James; daughter-in-law, Sabelitha Mitchell; brothers-in-law, Edward Hope, Aaron Davis (Phyllis), Alonzo McConico, and Andre Parham; bonus daughter, Chantel Watson; best friend, Charles West; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends. 

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
