Mr. Richard T. Stephens of Apollo Beach, FL passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at First Prospect M.B. Church, 6012 E. Edina Street, Wimauma, FL 33598, with Reverend George Cooks, Pastor, Officiating. Interment will follow in Wimauma Community Cemetery. MASK RECOMMENDED.
Mr. Richard Stephens was born in Harrisburg, PA on January 14, 1979, to Reverend Levern, Sr. and Geraldine Stephens. He attended East Bay High School and upon graduation enrolled with Bethune Cookman University. Mr. Stephens has a love for the culinary arts and pursued his craft until his health failed. He was a very happy, outgoing young man with a wide circle of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by: 2 sisters, Sharon Watson and Latoya Stephens; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted parents, Reverend Levern, Sr. and Geraldine Stephens; daughters, De’Asia, Aryanna, and Denisha; fiancé, Camille Blair; sister, Nikki G. Stephens; 3 brothers, Levern Stephens Jr., Emmett J. Wells, and Antwon Lee; aunts, Delores Williams (Eugene), Larie Hubbard (Lynell), Ellis Griffin (Pastor Nathaniel), Minnie Stephens, Francis Stephens, and Sylvia Stephens; uncles, Pastor Willie D. Edwards (Bettye), Eddie Edwards (Stella), Sylvester Williams (Brenda), Harvey Williams (Cheryl), Joe Davis, Leroy Davis, and Bruce Stephens (Geraldine); 1 great uncle; 4 great aunts; a loving cousin, Hazel Jackson; Godparents, Milton, and Deborah Wilson; special friends, Aaron Wilson, Bryant Young, Richard Stephens, John Williams and Joseph Boemio; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at First Prospect M.B. Church, 6012 E. Edina Street, Wimauma, FL 33598. MASK RECOMMENDED.
