Mr. Rickie Palmer

Rickie Palmer of Tampa, FL, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Tampa, FL 33610, with Reverend S. Evan Burrows, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Ricky was born on July 2, 1959, to Gracie Palmer and John Henry Palmer.  He attended the Hillsborough County Schools.

He was preceded in death by:  his parents, Gracie and John Henry Palmer; five brothers, Henry Palmer Jr., Arthur James Palmer, Edward James Palmer, Rufus Palmer, and Freddie Palmer; and two sisters, Julene Rivers and Jeanette Freeman.

He leaves to cherish his memories:  his wife, Valichia Palmer, one son, Rikardo Palmer; five daughters, Rakea Palmer, Rakell Palmer, Rayana Palmer, Raneé Palmer, and Raina Palmer; one brother, William C. Palmer; four sisters, Betty Goodwin, Frances Smith, Brenda Gatlin (Melvin), and Lavon Robinson; his loving niece, Stephaine Rivers; best friend and cousin, Michael Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
