Mr. Robert Alexander

Brother Robert Lee Alexander of Tampa, FL passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at New Deliverance Tabernacle, 3001 N. 22nd Street, Tampa, FL 33605. Interment to be held on Monday, November 13, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513.

Brother Robert Lee Alexander was born on March 3, 1947, in Inverness, Florida. His parent was the late Sarah Lee Alexander. He had siblings named Alice Marie Alexander, Mary Chester (Lonnie), and Herman Alexander, who preceded him in death. 

Robert grew up in Tampa, Florida, where he attended public school. After graduating, he served in the United States Army and met the love of his life at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Robert had a passion for basketball and was dedicated to his family. He was a devoted disciple of the Lord, leading many to know Jesus as their Savior. 

He is survived by: his loving wife of 52 years, Yvonne Alexander; children, Robert Alexander Jr., Jessica Alexander, Rachel Alexander, Juanita Spencer (Cedric), and Jason Alexander (Renee/Peaches); grandchildren, Cedricka Spencer, Raquelle Alexander, Jaden Gray, all of Tampa, Fl, Todd, Emanual, and Kelecia of Decatur, GA.; great-granddaughter, Legacy Williams of Tampa, FL.; brother, George Falana of New Jersey; like a son, Blake; special friends, Mary and Charles Perez (and Children), Brother Paul Thomas, Brother Earl Conage; and Henry Freeman; and a host of nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces, and nephews.

A visitation will be held Friday, November 10, 2023, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL, 33606.
