Mr. Robert Edward Brown Jr. of Tampa, FL passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, 10:00 a.m. at Browns Memorial Church of God in Christ, 2313 East 27th Avenue, Tampa, FL 33605, Bishop Anthony W. Gilyard, Pastor; Elder Edward Allen, Officiating; Pastor Aaron Hayes, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Robert Brown Jr. was born August 25, 1968, in Cordele, GA to Mildred Hardrick Brown and Robert Brown Sr. Robert was educated in the Hillsborough County School public schools. Robert started at Sucasa Nursing facility as a Floor Tech. He also did Landscaping, was a Chef, and worked at a Movie Theater. He dedicated his time to helping everyone that he could.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Mildred Watson; father, Robert Brown; stepfather, Alfred Waterson; sisters, Carrie Lee Lavant, Patricia Mack, Leon Mack, and Matilda Richardson; brother, Curtis Hardrick; grandparents, Allene Hardrick and Harace Hardrick Sr.; uncles, Melvin Hardrick (Mary Louise Hardrick), James Hardrick, Otis Hardrick, and Horace Lee.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his sons, Robert Brown III, Ivory Joseph Brown, Deondra Brown, and Gene Myles; grandchildren, IvyRose Brown, and Raigan Renece Brown; brother, Antwan Watson; Sisters, Mary Gallon (Bernard), Maggie Brown (Clarence), Robin Watson, Ieisha Watson, Shanika Watson, and Crystal Watson; God sister, Pamela Durant; aunt, Dorothy Delma, and Emma Price (Roger Price); close friends, Ann Foster, Patricia Ann Stanley, and Selena Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends: Gene Rainey, Spunky, Terry Lee, Walter Chris Durant, and Richard Gallon.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
