Mr. Robert Wilson Jr.

Mr. Robert L. Wilson Jr. passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens, 4025 W. Palmetto Street, Tampa, FL 33607, with Pastor A.W. Greene, Officiating.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. MASK RECOMMENDED.

Mr. Robert L. Wilson Jr. was a native of Tampa, Florida and attended King High School. Robert served Honorably in the United States Army as a Prime Mover Driver. Robert retired from Johnson Controls after 29 years of service.

He was preceded in death by: father, Roosevelt Casteel Sr.; mother, Elizabeth Townsend; siblings, Robin Jones, Nick Wilson, Rosaland Palmer, George Casteel, and Carolyn Napper; brother- in-law, Russell Keelan; and niece, Jeanetti Ford.

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Delores Wilson; children, Xavier Wilson (Cheryl),

Bernard Anthony, and Yvonne Hodges (Timothy); grandchildren, Noela, Javon, Amonee, Makayla, Marcus, and Beau; siblings, Sarah Wilson, John Casteel Sr. (Patricia), Mary, Gwendolyn, Christopher (Shawn), Angelina, and Jeanetti Keelan; sister-in-laws, Sandra Williams (Curtis), and Rita Forrest (Gregory Sr.); devoted friends, Katy, Tennort, Jermaine, Frank, Maria, Alberto, and Mopman; and a host of other sorrowing nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 12, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. MASK RECOMMENDED.
