Mr. Robert Lee Kelly

Mr. Robert Lee Kelly of Tampa, FL, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.

Mr. Robert Lee Kelly, affectionately known as “Do Da RobertLee,” was a native of Tampa, Florida. He attended public schools in Hillsborough County.  He loved his family, children, grandkids, telling his stories, and every opportunity showing off his famous dance “Do Da RobertLee”.  His favorite pastime was sitting around with his friends joking and laughing, and there was always a story and a “Do Da RobertLee” moment. He was fondly known for saying, “Don’t You Ever Forget It,” Laughing. He will forever be known for telling his own stories and dancing to his “Do Da RobertLee”.  His family will always remember his giving spirit, even when he did not have it.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Geraldine Ash-Kelley; father, Robert Lee Kelly Sr.; three brothers, Anthony Washington, Gerald “Kevin” Bolton, and Jerome Bolton Sr.; maternal grandparents, Solomon and Mary Alice Floyd; paternal grandparents, Elsie and Nell Kelly; uncle, Elzie Kelly Jr., and Terry Kelly; aunties, Marjorie “Patsy” Kelly Griffith, Marcie Kelly, and Julie Spreight; and cousins, Ralph Berry Jr., and Robby Berry.
