Mr. Russell A. Gallon

Mr. Russell A. Gallon of Tampa, FL, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at the Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, FL 33610.

Mr. Russell Gallon was a native of Tampa, Florida, and a resident of the city for 62 years. He attended Jefferson High School, the University of Florida, and Concorde Career Institute. Russell will always be remembered for his huge heart, infectious laugh, and willingness to lend a helping hand; he also sang beautiful birthday songs to his loved ones every year. Many will remember him as a big teddy bear, not only for his stature, but also for his kind spirit.

He is preceded in death by: his mother, Mary Lyvonne Gallon; and brothers, Ricky and Rodney Gallon.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving father, Robert Gallon; daughter, Chelene Harris (Jonathan Harris); grandsons, Jordan and Jaiden Harris; granddaughter, Jaielle Harris; nephew, Nikki Gallon (Rebekah Gallon); and niece, Zoë Gallon.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
