Mr. Shakeal K. Bryant “Speedy” of Tampa, FL, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, with Pastor Donald Lott, Officiating.
Shakeal was born in Colquitt, GA, to Darryl Brant and Ernestine Bryant. From adulthood onward, he was always self-employed. He was known for his friendly, outgoing, and loving nature. We all agree that he was widely regarded as a ladies’ man. His generous spirit will be deeply missed.
Shakeal leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Darryl Bryant; his mother, Ernestine Bryant (Dorothy Brown); his grandfather, Jessie Disnuite (Mary); his grandmother, Josephine Smith; his sisters, DeSantis Jeffery and Jana Bryant; his brothers, Travis Bryant and Makai Anthony and a host of children and grandchildren; beloved uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cherished friends and loved ones.
A special thank you to Shawnella Wilson and Crystal Moore for your continued support and kindness during Shakeal’s illness. Your encouragement, care, and willingness to help have meant so much to our family. We truly appreciate everything you have done.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
