Mr. Stephen Jackson

Mr. Stephen Michael Jackson of Tampa, FL passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Greater Faith Outreach Center, 7401 N. Dixon Avenue, Tampa, FL  33604, with Pastor JD Bellamy, officiating.

Stephen Michael Jackson was a proud native and life-long resident of Tampa, FL. He attended Tampa Bay Vocational Technical High School. A skilled tradesman who discovered his passion in high school, Steve quickly became a respected and admired figure in the large equipment mechanic field, working at several area companies before ending his career at Hertz. Beyond his mechanical expertise, he was known for his sharp style and lively spirit, having been a popular DJ in his younger years, always bringing joy and energy to those around him. An avid sport fisherman, he shared countless memorable moments with his fellow anglers in the many fishing clubs he was a part of. Known to many as a great, hard-working man with a strong sense of self, always willing to lend a helping hand. 

The memories of Stephen will be cherished by: his beloved wife, Alma E Jackson; children; and a host family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
