Mr. Vience "Gab" Carter

Mr. Vience G. Carter, affectionately known as “Gabe” entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, 3:00 p.m. at The Center for Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610 with Pastor Sherrie Green, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Vience G. “Gabe” Carter was born on September 27, 1962, in Tampa, FL to Willie B. Carter and Eunice Carter. Gabe received his education through the Hillsborough County School System and graduated from Robinson High School, where he played baseball. 

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Willie and Eunice Carter; sister, Martha Gilley; brother, Timothy Carter; nephews, Issac Carter, Byron Patty Sr., and Byron Patty Jr.; nieces, Gloria Carter, and Juanita Serano. 

He leaves to cherish his memory: his sons, Vince Carter, Lajuanee, Earl, and Jacob; daughters, Evelyn, Jasmine, Joanne, Brittany, Valencia, Hailey, and Gabrielle; wife, Danielle; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and stepchildren; Siblings, Willie, Mattie, Teresa (Gilbert), Maxine, and Regina; god mother, Evelyn Flagler Shank; god brother, Kieth Flaggler; god son, Troy Daniels; lifelong friend, Mario Howard; and a host of other sorrowing family and friends of the Port Tampa and Sugar Creek area.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
