Wilder Beaucejour passed away on Tuesday, September 6th, 2022, at Tampa General Hospital. Wilder was born on July 23, 1973, in Bariadelle (Dame Marie), Haiti. He was the son of Ernest Beausejour and Marie-Therese Hippolite.
He was preceded in death by: his mother.
In his late teens, Wilder migrated to Port-au-Prince, for educational purposes and to be closer to family. In the year of 2001, Wilder's father, Ernest Beausejour, relocated Wilder from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to Tampa Florida. Upon arrival to the United States, Wilder attended Erwin Technical School, where he learned English and made many lifelong friendships. Over the years, Wilder has worked in the Auto Industry, Waste Management, Culinary, and Lawn Care.
Wilder was an amazing cook and he enjoyed grilling. He loved spicy foods and created/sold his own bottled hot sauce (Yon Kiye / One Spoon). Wilder was a wonderful storyteller and an artist who enjoyed sketching, He was an athlete who loved to play soccer. Moments around Wilder were never dull; he was a comedian who finds pure enjoyment at making others laugh until they cry. In addition, Wilder was an amazing friend with a kind heart, who loved his family dearly. He was a free spirit who lived his life fully.
Wilder leaves to cherish his memory: his loving father, Ernest Beausejour and stepmother Roselene Beausejour; five beloved sisters, Yarlye Beausejour, Herlene Beausejour-Bell, Rebecca Beausejour, Walcka, and Jalene; three nephews, Damion Beausejour, Braydan Francillon, and Tahj Francillon; three nieces, Beatrice Bell, Lyla Francillon, and Maya Francillon; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
