Mr. Willie Perry

Mr. Willie “Nat” Perry of Tampa, FL passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 with Pastor A.W. Greene, Officiating.

Willie, known as Nat Perry, was born July 18, 1944, in Ocala, FL to the parentage of the late Nathaniel H. Perry and Lorine Vernon Perry. He was a longtime resident of Tampa, FL. He attended schools in Hillsborough County, graduating from Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1965. He was employed by Mass Brothers and Reliatex, where he worked for over 30 years and later retired. He went on to work part-time at the Lowry Park Zoo until his health started to decline.

He is preceded in death by: his sister, Catherine (Liz) Perry Belnavis.

He leaves fond and loving memories with: his devoted niece/caregiver, Cyntretha Thompson; sisters, Joyce Perry, and Joanne Perry; nephew, Marvin Thompson; great-nephews, KeQuan Brown, and Curtis Thompson; great-nieces, LonNiesha Mann (Jarek), Marvanette Thompson, Chimyra Threatts, and Bonetta Cotton; special niece, Teresa Crawford; special cousins, Deacon Rudene, Mamie Igles Sr., Gail Braddy, and Wilhelmina Blake; special Friends, Sonyette Alford, James (Smitty) Smith, Dave, Rudy, Andrew, Bernard, Marlo, and the Lowry Park Zoo family; and a host of great-great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
