Mr. Willie Lee Rodgers, Jr.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mr. Willie Lee Rogers, Jr. who departed this life on Saturday, February 28, 2026.  A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Rivers of Life Church Ministries, 301 Lakewood Drive, Brandon, FL 33510 with Pastor Curtis A. Swafford, Officiating.  Family and friends are invited to attend and honor his memory.  

Willie was born on July 3, 1961.  He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  A dedicated member of the community, Willie had a true zeal for life.  His warmth, strength, and vibrant spirit touched many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory:  his loving daughter, LaTaisha Walkowicz; his son, Willie L. Rogers III (BJ); four beloved grandchildren; three brothers; three sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Though he is no longer with us in body, his legacy of love and light will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
