Mrs. Alease Brooks, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, in Tampa, Florida, at the age of 65. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
Raised in Tampa, Alease Brooks attended Jefferson High School, where she met and later married her high school sweetheart, Mr. Anthony Brooks Sr. Together, they built a beautiful life in South Tampa, where they resided and raised their family for 42 years.
Alease dedicated much of her life to working in hospital housekeeping, where her caring nature and strong work ethic shined. She had a passion for taking care of others, whether through her career, her love for sewing, or the countless home-cooked meals that she lovingly prepared for family and friends. She took pride in keeping busy and always found joy in creating a warm and welcoming home. Though petite in stature, Alease had a mighty presence and a voice that commanded attention. She loved the feeling of power behind the wheel of big cars, finding joy in every ride. She was also fascinated by the many motorcycles her husband brought home over the years, always supporting his passion while playfully shaking her head at each new addition.
Alease is survived by: her devoted husband, Anthony Brooks Sr.; her five beloved children; and thirteen adoring grandchildren.
Her warmth, strength, and love will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew her.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
Arrangements entrusted to Ray Williams Funeral Home, Rhodes & Northern, Owners.
