A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Althea Lee Houston, who passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023, will be held on Saturday, May 27th, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Victory Temple Outreach Ministries, Inc., 5819 N 56th St. Tampa, FL 33610, with Pastor Dr. Laytecia McKinney, Officiating. MASK RECOMMENDED.
Althea was born in Camp LeJeune, North Carolina while her father served in the US Military. Her family moved to Florida when she was a young girl. She was a faithful Victory Temple Outreach Ministries member in Tampa, FL. She grew up in Wimauma, FL, attended the public schools in Hillsborough County, and graduated from East Bay Senior High School.
Althea was preceded in death by: her mother, Katherine Lee; guardian, Minnie Covin; sisters, Katherine Lee Sharp, and Brenda Lee Ivey; and bonus daughter, Phyllis Houston.
