Mrs. Annie Catherine Baker Glymph

Mrs. Ann C. Baker Glymph of Tampa, FL, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church, 8525 N 78th St, Tampa, FL 33637, with Rev. George Martin, Officiating.

Ann Glymph relocated to Tampa, FL, as a young child and lived there for 85 years.  She attended Dobyville Elementary, Carver Jr. High School, and Middleton High School, Class of 1957. She was a member of New Salem Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughters, Gayle McIntosh (Nobath) of Freeport GBI, Bahamas and Harvelyn Glymph; sister, Mattie Christina Baker Houston of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Jayla Robinson and James Jarrode Randolph; great-grandchildren, Jaleel, Jo’el, Jermiah, and James Robinson, Johonna Peterman, Jayden Randolph, Jamari Randolph, Maliyah James, Adrian James, Major James, and Josiah Randolph; great-great-grandchild, Jo’el Robinson II; nieces, Sandra Lopez, Kimberly Ligon (Gerald H.) of Charleston, SC; nephews, Darryl Houston (Tamara), and Kevin Houston, both of Charleston, SC; grand nephews, Brandon Houston (Seanna), Robert Ligon (Tawana), Gerald Ligon, and Matthew Ligon, all of Charleston, SC; grand nieces, Ryan Brennan (Sean) of Hawaii, Kristen Shirely (Adam), Katelyn Michael, and Autumn Shirely, all of Charleston, SC; cousins, Willie Anthony Leak of Atlanta, GA,  Frankie Baker of Plant City, FL, Linda Harris, and Diane Baker of Plant City, FL; Godchildren, Sherrylyn Williams and Jasmine Williams; friends from the Bahamas, Joanna Gardiner and family, Rev.
