Mrs. Annie Lou Brantley

Mrs. Annie Barnum Brantley of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, with Pastor Dwight D. Brown Sr., Officiating.

Mrs. Annie Brantley, born on March 10, 1935, in Colquitt County, Georgia, resided there until she moved to Tampa, Florida, in her adult years. She lived in Tampa for 70 years.

She dedicated over 20 years to working for the Hillsborough County Schools. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. In her later years, she became a member of Truth Revealed Deliverance Ministry. She was also an active member of Lola Simon #33, Order of the Eastern Star, PHA.

Her strength, determination, spiciness, and joy for life will be missed by all who knew and loved her as “Ms. Annie”.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter and son-in-law, Felecia and Glen Lamison; daughter-in-law, Victoria Nelson; grandchildren, Desiree, Anthony, Alonzo, Regina, Daniell, and Jonathan Nelson, Venus Adams, Mynina Hughes and DJ Brantley; sister, Ethel Keaton; brother, Odell Barnum; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
