Mrs. Bernice Solomon- Watts passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, FL 33610 with Bishop Theadore Hall Jr., Officiating. MASK RECOMMENDED.
Mrs. Bernice Solomon- Watts was born on March 28, 1942, through the union of Mr. Boshume Hartwell and Rubelia Solomon. She was educated in the Public Schools of Turner County Georgia, and Hillsborough County. Bernice was a devoted wife to Mr. Willie Watts, she loved unconditionally. Her hobbies were fishing, country western movies, and was a hard-working employee for the Wonder Bread Bakery Company for forty years. She was well-known in the West Tampa and East Tampa communities and loved her many visits to her hometown Ashburn, Georgia to visit her family.
Bernice was preceded in death by: her husband, Willie Watts; parents, Mr. Boshume Hartwell, and Rubelia Solomon; brothers, Willie Solomon Sr., Jimmie Lee Solomon Sr., Emory Solomon, Leon Solomon, and Arthur L. Solomon Sr.; sister-n laws, Annie V. Solomon, and Ernestine Solomon; and nieces, Barbra Ann Copeland, and Gloria F Solomon.
She leaves to cherish her life memories: step-son, Mario Bellamy; nieces and nephews, Evelyn M. Solomon, Ruby A. Shannon (Gene), Annie D. Patrick (Homer T III), Arthur L. Solomon Jr. (Shemika), Thelma Jean (Leroy James), Willie G. Kirkland, Ricardo Solomon, Leroy Solomon, Joann Redden, Joyce, David Solomon, Cecelia Knighton, Willie Solomon Jr of Houston TX, Patricia Anderson, Denice Nellons, Carolyn Williams, Jimmy L. Solomon, Frankie Solomon, Alexander Solomon, Curtis Solomon, and Stanley-Gary Solomon; great nieces and nephews, Alishia Crawley, Jamyria Crawley, Kenyon, Damarcus, Jacquez, Brianna Solomon, and Zariya Patrick; special loved ones and friends, The Holmes Family of Ashburn, GA., Ms. Annie Goldsmith, Bonnie Smitterman and Family, Eloise Paul, Tisha Kennedy and Family, Patricia Simmons, Ms. Donna, Jacquelyn Duncan, Ashburn, GA., Tifton, GA., Sylvester, GA., Atlanta, GA., and Chicago, IL.
