Mrs. Betty Louise Smiley

Mrs. Betty Louise Smiley of Tampa, FL passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at Allen Temple AME Church, 2101 N. Lowe Street Tampa, FL  33605 with Reverend Derick Levy of Temple of Faith Pentecostal Church Inc, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. MASK RECOMMENDED.

Betty Louise Smiley was born June 15, 1951, in Bradford County, FL. Betty loved cooking, spending time with her family, eating seafood, and football. 

She was preceded in death by: her Parents, Mr. Arthur, and Hattie Mae McGett; Sisters, Deloris Williams, Mary Bouie, and Debra McGett; Brother, Arthur McGett; Niece, Hattie Mae Stephens; Nephews, Anthony (Poppa) Williams, and James Mingo Jr.; and Grandchildren, Jamon E. Smiley, Jace M. Smiley, and Daylin Smiley.

She will be missed by many and leaves behind the following:  her Husband, Willie Earl Smiley; five loving Children, Dr. Diane Levy and Husband Michael Levy, Mae McMillan and Husband Walter McMillian, James Smiley and Wife La’Porsche Smiley, Brenda Smiley and Ceddrick Knight, and David Smiley and Wife Selena Smiley all of Tampa; Sister, Emma Lee Walton and Husband Carlton Walton of Tampa; 18 grandchildren, Dennard House, Delicia House, Fletcher J. Comer III, Michael Levy Jr., Marquis McMillan, Kiana McMillan, Alecia McMillan, Jyi’Meria Smiley, James E. Smiley Jr., Jaime Smiley, Jordan E. Smiley, Joie Smiley, Jamarion Smiley, David Smiley Jr., Se’Davia Smiley, Davin Smiley, Deven Smiley, and Seven Smiley; Nieces, Sheila Williams, Theresa Williams and husband Anthony Williams, April Givens and Husband Reginald, Latisa McGett, and Keaundra; Nephews, Vernon McGett, Victor McGett and Joann, and Rasheem Freeman all of Tampa; The Jackson, Parker, Bell, Standberry, and Brown Family; Nieces and Nephews; In-Laws,  A host of beloved Great Grandchildren, Great Aunts, Cousins, and a host of surrounding relatives and friends.

The visitation will be held on Friday January 27, 2023, from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue Tampa, Fl 33606. MASK RECOMMENDED.
